Mark S. Danzo, O.D. Co-Founder, Optometrist – Dr. Mark Danzo has nearly 25 years of experience in the vision correction industry, including first-hand co-management of over 20,000 refractive surgery procedures. A vision correction patient himself, Dr Danzo was born and raised in New York and he received his training in Boston. He has lived in Colorado since 1987. Dr. Danzo has trained over 1,000 ophthalmology and optometric practices around the world from Frankfurt, Germany to Sydney, Australia. He contributes to ophthalmic and optometric trade publications; and speaks at international ophthalmic and optometric meetings. He has also written two books on marketing and managing a refractive surgery practice. Dr. Danzo holds a B.S. in Biology from the State University of New York at Cortland and a Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry.
Ophthalmologist, Dr. Jim E. Montgomery is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who has been practicing refractive eye surgery in Denver since 2001. While being involved in a local area center as the Chief Refractive Surgeon, he received the honor of first in the category of “Best LASIK/Laser Center/LASIK Eye Surgeon” in the Boulder Camera’s Best of Boulder County for three consecutive years. Dr. Montgomery has been with the 20/20 Institute in Denver since 2005. He is proud to have an association with the 20/20 Institute because of a common commitment to the quality of patient care, state-of-the-art technology, and the total patient experience.
Dr. Montgomery is currently the primary eye surgeon at the Denver 20/20 Institute. He has performed over 17,000 laser eye surgery correction procedures. Dr. Montgomery is credentialed at the highest level on multiple laser platforms. He performs other refractive procedures including ReSTOR, ReZoom, Crystalens, and Visian ICL lens implants. Dr. Montgomery understands the depth of the personal choice in having laser vision correction because he has had the procedure as well.
Dr. Montgomery graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 1992. Following an internship in Internal Medicine at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, he completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Zale Hospital, and Parkland Hospital in 1996. Dr. Montgomery became Board Certified in 1998 and has recently completed his ten year recertification with an emphasis in refractive surgery. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and maintains membership in the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
Warren Tripp, M.D. is a very experienced LASIK Surgeon, having performed over 16,000 laser vision correction procedures right here in Colorado. He is credentialed on many advanced FDA approved excimer laser platforms. He specializes in numerous other eye surgeries, including corneal specialties. Dr. Tripp is personally familiar with all facets of laser vision correction both as a clinician and as a patient. He had his own vision corrected with refractive surgery in 1997 and still enjoys his uncorrected 20/20 vision today.

Dr. Tripp is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who has been practicing ophthalmology in Boulder County since 1983 and refractive surgery since 1997. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
Dr. Tripp received his undergraduate degree from Columbia Union College and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Loma Linda University. He then completed his residency in ophthalmology in California at Loma Linda University in 1983.
