Out of Town Patients

Consultation & Procedure Scheduling

Located in Indianapolis, the 20/20 Institute has aided thousands of patients from around the world in their quest to achieve visual correction freedom. We welcome all people to our center, and we adjust our patients' care to fit with their travel schedules.

Patients traveling to the 20/20 Institute from outside Indianapolis for LASIK can schedule a "Three-Day Appointment" including:

Consultation on Thursday afternoon to evaluate candidacy

LASIK procedure performed on Friday morning

The 1-day follow-up appointment on Saturday morning

 

You are then able to drive (or fly) home Saturday afternoon and return for a one-week follow-up appointment the following weekend.

Or, you may choose to return on the following Monday for your one-week post-op appointment (if your vision is satisfactory) and again for either a 1 or 3-month post-op appointment or both.

At the 20/20 Institute, our customer service begins before you even enter our door.  We will be happy to help you in arranging your hotel accommodations (our patients receive special low discount rates with local area hotels) if you are traveling from outside Indianapolis.  We want to ensure your stay is comfortable and reliable. Your four-star hotel stay includes shuttle service to and from our door so that you may focus on the LASIK procedure rather than traffic, taxis, or buses.

LASIK vision correction is so uninvasive a procedure that you can think of it as a vacation.  In addition to the hotels available within a short distance of our center, there are many fine restaurants, cultural activities, and shopping to round out your stay in Indianapolis.

Hotel Accommodations & Shuttle Service

Making sure your entire journey is a VIP experience is important to the 20/20 Institute. We partner with local four-star hotels to provide you with as comfortable and pleasant a stay in Indianapolis as possible. These hotels are near the 20/20 Institute and they all provide shuttle service to and from our door for all appointments including the initial consultation, LASIK procedure, and all follow-up care.

If you have to travel great distances to have the LASIK procedure with us, the 20/20 Institute can make worry-free arrangements for you.
