20-20 Institute works with Flexible Spending Accounts (also known as Flex Plans, Section 125 Plans and Cafeteria Plans).  A Medical Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is an IRS-approved, tax-exempt account that saves you money on eligible medical expenses. The money you deposit into your FSA each pay period effectively reduces your gross income for federal tax purposes. These funds are exempt from both federal income and Social Security and Medicare taxes.

Then, as you incur eligible expenses, you reimburse yourself from your FSA account. Through your FSA, you can pay for eligible medical expenses, such as LASIK with pre-tax dollars.
